Living in Europe

THIS IS WHERE AND WHEN FLUENCY IN THE LANGUAGE OF A GERMAN SPEAKING COUNTRY CAN BE MOST USEFUL, AND IN FACT VITAL, TO YOUR WORKING SUCCESS AND A HAPPY FAMILY LIFE.

You will doubtless have run into many U.K. immigrants who know little or no English, and you will have seen how they struggle to handle even the simplest of everyday situations.

If you want to avoid this sort of disadvantage for yourself as you settle into your new country or job, then you need enough knowledge of the local language to be able to handle normal everyday situations, plus a good knowledge of the vocabulary and terms which are likely to crop up most often in your new workplace.

So, in addition to ensuring that you know the one thousand most often used words in your new language, we discuss and agree with you – in your own native language – what most important words and phrases are needed to make your working life as simple and successful as possible, then we help you learn those words and phrases in your new language, and also introduce you to other workaday words likely to crop up.

We thus ensure that the vocabulary and grammar you will need in both your general living and working situations are well known to you, not only for speaking and listening, but also for reading and writing – skills you will need in any leadership situation.

In addition, we give consideration to leisure activities in your new living area, and help you find the words which will cover your hobby activities, the sports you enjoy and general socialising.

Finally, we guide you in respect of the local government and other organisations with which you will likely need to communicate.
